My Relationship with Witchcraft

For me, witchcraft is along the same lines as Santa Claus. It's something that is not real, but the belief of it brings me joy in life. I started practicing in March of 2026.

Back in 2019, I got into crystals. Really got into them. Ever since then, I slowly grew my collection. As of now, my collection mostly consists of rose quartz and clear quartz with one piece of aventurine. I don't believe in them being a form of alternative medicine, yet I still use them as a part of my rituals.

I use the phases of the moon as a schedule. For example, I cleanse my crystals on the night of a third quarter moon and charge them on the night of a first quarter moon. Both of these actions just involve setting my crystals on my windowsill. Full-moon nights are for spell-casting, and new-moon nights are for checking in on myself.

My charms ended up being Genshin Impact merchandise. I have bracelets and necklaces with all 7 of the elemental-Vision symbols. I use the Hydro and Anemo charms in my rituals.

In terms of spells, I have a jar with a few pieces of folded-up paper. Written on each piece is a keyword for the spell I want to do (such as 'healing'). I take out the spell I want to do and then follow my ritual.
